My Winter Break
For my winter break, I traveled with my family to Los Angeles, California. We arrived in L.A. at 10 am ,I was really jetlagged, it took me five days to recover from jet lag. After I recovered from jet lag, I went to the ice rink and went ice-skating. My grandma kindly bought me ice- skates, I was so happy. Then I went to Disneyland because my 5 year old brother kept begging my mom and dad. My favorite ride was "Matterhorn Bobsleds". Finally we ate dinner at my favorite italian restuarant "Peppinos". I enjoyed learning to snowboard at "Mountain High", I fell a bunch of times but hey thats part of learning. I forgot to tell you about how I spent my Christmas, I got kinect games and a new video camera.

My persuasive essay
Getting a taxi in Singapore is aggravating
Getting a taxi when raining in Singapore is aggravating, frustrating, and annoying. For example it’s cold and your formal wear gets ruined. When it’s pouring, there is a variety of reasons why it’s aggravating with taxis. To start with, when it’s raining most of the time the taxis are occupied. In fact, when you call for a taxi. Taxis take a long time to reach your destination. Finally, taxi drivers can’t see you in the rain. So it’s hard to get the taxi driver’s attention.
Not only taxis are aggravating, but the weather is also frustrating. First, when its pouring and you’re waiting for a taxi its cold. Second, the annoying weather gets your formal wear ruined. Third, if you don’t have a coat or umbrella. You would get wet. A week ago, a group of teenagers was waiting for a taxi, since it was raining their formal wear got ruined and they were cold.
Since getting a taxi when raining in Singapore is aggravating and frustrating, there should be changes. Yes, taxis are helpful but the taxi drivers should use their windshields often so they can see people in the rain who needs to go to a place. The Singapore government would notice that there are 750,00 taxis on the road, but they never notice that there would be 5,000,000 people on the side walk waiting for a taxi in the rain. Also, taxi drivers should drive bit faster to the passenger’s destination. Lastly, if the taxi driver doesn’t know the places then they would ask silly questions like “Do I turn right then go to Woodlands?”, “do you have a map?”, “I never heard of this place, can you show me the way?”. But why can’t they just use a G.P.S. or google maps?. Taxis, the frustrating weather, and the people being impatient combined is what makes the situation aggravating.

What learned in computer class
I learned that you can't reveal your identity on the internet because if you give too much personal info like telling strangers whats your name, what school you go to. He/she will find you in real life. Its like wearing an identity mask.
